A call for donations – Dark_Strider
Ingame you know the call for donations to keep your commander able to tech up and to improve.
In Reallife this call for donations is not so easily followed - nevertheless I think it is important that we start that call.
You know the maps that you play all day long on the official servers. You see the beauty and you experience the feeling that each map gives you in gameplay.
These maps did not come out of nowhere – they were created in
HOURS of hard work and they were not just „put together“ but were created with keeping quality and playability in mind – on the bottom line – this is
ART.
He is not hired nor payed by s2games and does this all
for FREE for us.
I think all the other mapmakers agree with me here that Dark_Strider is
THE leading artist in map-development. (And I think you know that I dont want to play the work of the others down with this statement)
A few examples: Mirakar, Autumn, and Willow were all created by him alone – and
YOU benefit from it. Have a look at the „Props-Pack that he created for others and you see how much he contributes to
our game
So I think it is important that we give something back – additional to a „Thank you“ and dont just request something from him to be done.
Therefore I dedicate all donations until Christmas made over the Button on http://www.playsavage2.com to him. Every donor who wants to be mentioned will be mentioned in this thread but you can just give the term „anonymous“ in the donation and you will remain unknown.
To start – I just transfered
10 € to that paypal account and
ask you to do the same, so that he gets a special christmas gift from the Savage2-Community. (Every donation is welcome so if you cant afford the 10 € give less)
The First bar, that I want to reach is 100 € but i am ready to raise it.
